With the map featured above to the left, it is possible to see the various different lifts which rise into the ski area. There are various sections of St Anton clustered around these base lifts where accommodation may be located.
At the top of the map is the suburb of Nasserein. This is located between St Anton and the neighbouring village of St Jakob and is built on a slope rising from the main road. Between Nasserein and the resort centre is a long flat section, which can either be traversed on the main road (yellow on the map) or the village road heading towards the pedestrian centre above it . Quite a number of hotels and pensions are located along the main road and smaller roads connecting it to the village road.
The pedestrian centre is located around the base of the three lifts furthest to the left on the map. Obviously one of the most convenient areas in the resort, it is also the liveliest during the day and the evening.
From here to the left edge of the map, the road rises quite sharply on its way through to St Christoph. Again there are quite a number of hotels and other types of accommodation in this area - this is where much of the newer guest accommodation has been built.
