Any keen skier would not find it hard to get into the mood for the winter watching the World Cup races on 17 and 18 October 2020 in Sölden.
The Ski World Cup was held at the Rettenbach glacier in Sölden one week earlier than usual. On 17 October 2020, the ladies’ giant slalom was on the programme, followed by the men’s giant slalom on 18 October 2020. For safety reasons, no spectators were allowed but the races were broadcast on television.
The autumn ski season lasts from the end of September to 18 November 2020 on Sölden’s glacier ski area. All of the lifts in the Sölden ski area will be in operation from 19 November 2020. The online ski ticket shop offers something new this year with dynamic ticket pricing offering savings up to 20 percent for early bookings.
