Why Trust Ski Austria's Quiz?
Ski-Austria.com has helped thousands of skiers plan their ski holidays in Austria since 2006. Every ski resort featured in our quiz has been personally skied (or snowboarded) in the previous years and is covered in detail on our website.
The quiz includes more than 50 Austrian ski resorts. Depending on your answers, there are thousands of possible combinations – meaning your result is tailored to your preferences, not random.
With every recommendation you can expect information about how to get there, which area to stay (also some Hotel recommendations), best times to go, additional resort insights.
During the ski season, you can expect roughly 3-4 relevant updates, inspiration and opening information based on your interests. Outside ski season, we send you occasional updates so you get reminded of that the next ski season is just around the corner.

Why is there no Airport Vienna or other smaller Austrian Airports in the Ski Quiz?
We didn’t include the Airport Vienna as most Ski Resorts are further away than two hours. You would have always gotten the same results. If you plan to fly to Vienna and want to have a Ski Resort within two hours travel time you can find recommended resorts on the skiing near Vienna page.
We also didn’t include Linz, Klagenfurt, Graz, Memmingen or Friedrichshafen Airport as these Airports are less popular for international guest.
Can I use the Quiz when I plan to drive to Austria?
Yes certainly. You can just click “No preference” for the Airport. The traveltime will not be taken into consideration when no preference is chosen. We will still send you the recommended Airports and how to get there. For planning purposes you can use our interactive ski resorts map or read our article about driving in Austria in winter.
Can I use the Quiz when I plan to take the train to Austria?
Yes certainly, we would recommend to you choose an Airport as the Airports Zurich, Innsbruck or Salzburg will probably be your final destination with the long distance train. However, you can always choose “No preference” for the Airport then you get recommended the higehst matching resort without taking travel time into consideration.
