Innsbruck Airport is the most convenient both for choice of potential packages and for the proximity and ease of public transport. Essentially the journey takes the same route as for the more popular resort of Mayrhofen – in other words, heading along the Inn Valley motorway until Jenbach and then turning off into the long Ziller valley. Just before Mayrhofen is the town of Zell am Ziller and the route to Gerlos and the pass heads east from here.

The most straightforward is probably the one using the motorway through Germany to Kufstein and then along the Inn valley motorway to Jenbach to join up with the route above from Innsbruck.
