The Hahnenkamm ski area above Reutte has been taken over by new owners, which now guarantees the ski operations for this coming winter season.
The Pletzer Group, which already operates lifts in the SkiWelt ski region in Tyrol and in one of Germany’s largest ski areas, will become the majority shareholder of Reuttener Seilbahnen GmbH & Co KG.
The other owner will be Profile Projektmanagement GmbH, active in the Außerfern and Allgäu region, whose managing director Fritz Schweiger is also co-owner of the Cillihütte on the Hahnenkamm.
“The commitment outside the region and the jump over the Fernpass are uncharted territory for our group of companies. The many positive discussions I have had in recent months and the solidarity of the people with the Hahnenkamm finally convinced me. I would like to help the lifts get back into calmer waters and benefit the region,” says KR Anton Pletzer.

Profile Projektmanagement GmbH contributes know-how in the field of gastronomy, the development of tourism concepts and as project manager in the construction industry. Recent projects are the Cillihütte on the Hahnenkamm and the restaurant & park area Seehaus Hopfensee in Hopfen am See.
At the moment the preparatory work on the Hahnenkamm is in full swing. From 11 December 2020 regular skiing operations should be guaranteed once again.
