Skiing in October in Austria - 2026 Update
The province of the Tyrol has had another warm summer, but a cold snap in end of september has put a decent amount of snow on the glaciers.
The beginning of October has seen colder weather with some precipitation and, at the start of the month, the glacier ski resorts are open for business.
Over in Salzburg the Kitzsteinhorn is open for skiers, along with the Mölltal glacier in Carinthia.
