Alpendorf Ski Area Overview
St. Johann-Alpendorf offers straightforward skiing with wider access to Wagrain, Flachau and Zauchensee. The terrain above the resort is suited for both beginner and intermediate skiers. The ski resort is served by modern gondolas and chairlift.
The ski area is easy to navigate and has big signs if you want to go to the other resorts of the Snow Space Salzburg or come back from the Wagrain side of the mountain.

Skiing in Alpendorf - Details
The Alpendorf gondola in St. Johann – Alpendorf goes straight to the beginners area in Obergasslalm. When you take the connecting Obergasslalm chairlift you can take the blue piste to the Hirschkogel area which is the main area of Alpendorf with very wide and perfectly groomed blue and red slopes.
While Alpendorf itself does not offer a huge variety of terrain, its strength lies in efficient access to a much larger ski area. Expert skiers may find the immediate area limited, but will appreciate the easy connections to neighbouring sectors.
